Are you a brand-new songwriter? Or have you been creating music ever since you were a kid? Are you seeking a new way to reinvigorate your music practice? Maybe you have never invested fully in developing your songs or musical gift. Or maybe it is has been difficult for you to invest in your music, at all. Perhaps you have a block which makes starting or even finishing a song difficult? I'm here for it all. I aim to support each songwriter, regardless of experience level, in taking your song from conception to completion.

What makes working with me unique, is that the process begins as soon as we start talking about music. Songs can pop up at any time, sometimes inspiration is quick and needs to be expressed fully right away. Other times, music creation is slow and quite laborious. There is room in any music practice of songcraft for all processes. Working with me, will vary by person and by song. We will discover the best process to birth your song. The tool that will get us there is honing communication, the bones of any musical practice.

Verse, Chorus, Verse, Chorus, Bridge, Chorus. Let's establish a foundation for your next song. Select a BPM and begin telling your story.

Lyric Development

Do you already have lyrics or a poem written? Let's build the music around your lyrics or write a new story around a familiar melody from your archives.

Vibe Exploration

Let's capture the emotion from your existing song elements. We'll discuss reference tracks. We'll experiment with different sounds and textures.

Post-Production

This is where we will put everything together in a Digital Audio Workstation. We will decide on effects and any additional instrumentation that is needed to fill out the vibe. We will ensure there is a clean and crisp mix before the last step of mastering the completed song.

Finding a Unique Voice

If you are brand-new to the process of songwriting, you will be discovering your unique voice through this practice. Accessing your innate connection to music, we will mine your intuitive expressions through excavating your writings and voice memo recordings, and then exploit them.

Tracking

After the focus on songcraft and pre-production, we will begin tracking. This is the recording process that will capture many of the sounds that we will be using to build your song. We will choose the best scenario to track, depending on your wants and needs.
