Lauren DeMichiei (dee ma shay) is my name and I have spent most of my life focusing on music and songwriting. From lyric writing and song structure to supporting instrumentation and production, I have studied many of the greats and many of the unknowns. Musical life began for me as a teenager engrossed in the catharsis of bedroom songcraft. Over the years through performance and collaboration, my songwriting has evolved to anchor on vibe, structure, the exploration and development of supporting instrumentation, and post production in order to see songs to their full potential.

Music production can happen in varying scenarios. I have produced tracks fully "in the box" only with my DAW (Digital Audio Workstation.) I have also produced tracks with multiple live collaborators in professional recording studios. Every song and every situation may differ, but there is always a path to serve the song. I love working with new artists and budding songwriters, many who have never made the space to cultivate and create a fully-formed song in a professional capacity. I aim to create and hold that space with the intent of personal musical evolution, through an intentional focus on professional songcraft.

My personal music practice involves a catalogue of songs brought to life in this full form, and also those of select artists that I have collaborated with or represent in some capacity. ElectricRed Ltd. is my music company that processes and administers the musical projects that I am involved with as an artist and as an entrepreneur.

With regards to music for synchronization, I have a good understanding of industry-side systems, the processes, and requirements, currently in place.  With this experience, my aim is to partner with like-minded collaborators seeking original music for their projects. So do reach out.
